I attach the Sailing Instructions for the race from Dun Laoghaire to Pwllheli next Saturday 18th August. With the Overall Series points very close, this race and the last race will be critical. The actual course will be decided on Friday evening at the NYC. I will issue the list of entries later in the week.

It has been some years since we had a finish in Pwllheli. Boats entering the marina need to take into account the state of the tide at the time of the finish.

I have been contacted to see if there is an arrangement to bring crew to Holyhead from Pwllheli, after the race. Also, if a delivery crew are travelling to bring boats back to Dun Laoghaire, it may be possible to bring them down from Holyhead. If there is sufficient interest, we can arrange the usual transport but I need to know this by Tuesday 14th at the latest. The logistics of this is more difficult than the normal arrangements due to unknown finish times, ferry times etc!!!!!!

I understand that there is a growing interest by some people to compete in the Middle Sea Race in October. See the ISORA Group on Facebook. The last two cross channel races will give experienced to those crew who may not have competed in the previous races.

I attach the list of provisional entries for the race on Saturday. The weather is looking good for a great race to Pwllheli!!

I would appreciate it if you could contact me if either you are on the list and not racing or not on the list and will be racing.

If there are any queries, please contact me +353 87 2545037 ro by email.
