ISORA - Promoting the sport of Offshore Racing in the Irish Sea
The Association is run by volunteers for the benefit of competitors by working in partnership with boat owners, crew, yacht and sailing clubs, other associations and the governing bodies for boating in Ireland, Wales and the UK.

The Course for Race 2, Viking Marine Coastal Race, in Dun Laoghaire is as follows:
STARTING LINE at Dun Laoghaire Outfall Buoy
Pass through the Muglins - ISORA Dublin Virtual Mark Gate - Muglins (S) and the ISORA Dublin Virtual Mark (P)
East Kish (S)
Killiney Outfall (P)
Bray Outfall (P)
Pass through the Muglins - ISORA Dublin Virtual Mark Gate - Muglins (P) - and the ISORA Dublin Mark (S)
FINISH LINE between Dun Laoghaire Pier Heads
Approx 24 miles.

This race is the second Race in the ISORA 2020 series and the second race of the ISORA “Viking Marine Coastal Series”
Skippers are required by Section 9 of the Supplemental Sailing Instructions to Register all crew on the ISORA Crew Manager App
Skippers must register the following details, for all crew members, on the ‘ISORA Crewmanager App’:
Crew Name and contact details
Shore Contact Name and contact details, for each crew member
The information will only be used:
for safety purposes and in an instance of an emergency.

Congratulations to George Sisk and the team on the XP44 WOW on a great win and line honours in the first ISORA race in 2020.
This was also the first race of four in the in the ISORA Viking Marine Coastal Series.

Mojito won Class 1 and was second overall whilst Paul O'Higgins, the 2019 Champions in the JPK10.80 Rockabil VI was third in IRC overall.
There was also a great challenge for IRC 3 which went to Windjammer abd Silver Class was won by Wardance - Congratulations

The Race Management Team are now working on Race No. 2 on Saturday 11th July and this Race wiil feature the ISORA Crew Manager App. Please look at this link.
The ISORA: Back to Boating Protocol is now published.
The document is a live working document and the intention of the Race Management team is to update it as and when restrictions are relaxed/changed in the various territorial waters relevant to each race.
The objective is to get us back racing at the earliest possible opportunity but only if we can do so safely and within all relevant guidelines and regulations.
