PlasHeliThis race is the 6th Race in the Musto ISORA 2023 series and the 3rd race of the ISORA “Plas Heli Coastal Series” So many races within the same race!

The course is as follows:

  • Start (PSC line) as defined in the SSIs
  • PSC 2  (P)          52 52.400N 04 25.580W
  • Causeway (S)       52 41.210N 04 25.330W
  • Gwylan Islands (S)    52 47.069N 04 41.923W
  • Carreg y Trai (P)     52 48.139N 04 26.700W
  • Finish (Plas Heli line) as defined in the SSIs

Start times are:

  • Class 2: 08:00
  • Class 1: 08:30
  • Class 0: 09:00

Shortening Course Protocol:

Race Shortening protocol: If the first boat does not cross a line directly south of Gwylan Islands before 14:00, the finish will be a line extending 1nm directly south of Carreg y Trai.

Amendment 18th April 2024

A race will be added to the Welsh Coastal Series as Race 17 CW5 - this will be run on 15th June - best three races out of 5 to count in the series.


2024 Class bands are anticipated as follows:

Class 0 = 1.070 or greater
Class 1 = 1.010 to 1.069
Class 2 = 1.009 or less

2024 bands will be published before the first Race.
