Amendment No. 1 Class splits

The Class split for the 2017 ISORA Series will be as follows

  • IRC 0 = 1.030 or greater. Class 0
  • IRC 1 = 1.000 to 1.029. Class 1
  • IRC 2 = 0.999 or less.  Class 2

Amendment 2 : YB Tracking :

1. YB Trackers will be available for collection from the car park in front of the Plas Heli Event pontoons, between 0800 an 0830 on Saturday 22nd April, or by prior arrangement from Mark and Jo Thompson (Aquaplane)

2. YB Trackers must be returned to Mark or Jo Thompson after racing in Plas Heli. Any boats not returning to Pwllheli must must make arrangements to return the tracker ASAP to the Plas Heli office.

Amendment 3: Sponsors

All yachts will be presented with a sponsor’s flag or decals, which must be displayed at all times.

Commodore’s Post Race Reception

There is a post-race reception for crew and guests in Pwllheli Sailing Club hosted by Commodore Eifion Owen

This will be an ideal opportunity to compare notes with other crew in what is setting up to be a fantastic race in the bay followed by good company and fun ashore.

Amendment 18th April 2024

A race will be added to the Welsh Coastal Series as Race 17 CW5 - this will be run on 15th June - best three races out of 5 to count in the series.


2024 Class bands are anticipated as follows:

Class 0 = 1.070 or greater
Class 1 = 1.010 to 1.069
Class 2 = 1.009 or less

2024 bands will be published before the first Race.
