Race: 19th May 2012 Start:09.30

The following tips and charts have been prepared by Keith Mander to accommodate those boats entering Conwy on the Friday before the race and leaving for the race.

Care is needed when entering the channel as the ebb flows very fast and the channel is narrow. best enter at the high tide. Places are being retained in the Conwy marina for the fleet. the "get together" on the Friday night has been arranged for the Mulberry Bar and Restaurant that over looks the Conwy marine.

The Quay Hotel marina is on the Deganwy side of the channel. For those boats wishing to stay there, a water taxi has been arranged to transfer people to the Mulberry.

Attached below is a list of alternative accommodation close to the marins.

Conwy Golf Club is directly behind the Conwy marina - what a bit of luck!!!! I believe it is a spectacular links course and well worth the effort. Clubs can be hired.

This promises to be a great event.
