‍ISORA 2021 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - NOTICE

 

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Irish Sea Offshore Racing Association (ISORA) will be held virtually by 'Zoom' on  Saturday 4th December 2021 at 11.00 hours for the transaction of the following business:-

 

  1. To approve the minutes of the previous AGM.
  2. To approve the accounts for the year to November 2021
  3. To elect Officers of the Association for the ensuing year.
  4. To elect members of the  Committee
  5.  To Agree the 2022 Race Management Detail and Proposed Race Schedule

 

 

The meeting is for the following categories:

  1. 2019, 2020 and 2021 Skippers, or their appointed representative
  2. 2022 prospective Skippers, or their appointed representative
  3. 2021 Committee Members
  4. 2022 Committee Members (proposed)
  5. Yacht/Sailing Club Representatives

 

 

Voting wll be restricted to one vote per ISORA participating boat

Questions for the AGM to be forwarded to the Hon Sec before 2nd December 2021

 'Supplemental Sailing Instructions' (SSIs).

 

For every Race, we will publish ' Supplemental Sailing Instructions' (SSIs). This will give race specific instructions and must be read by all skippers.

 

The SSIs can be accessed from the web site from a number of different directions

  • From the Notice of Race just click on the SSIs link 
  • From the web site > Notice Board> Race Supplemental Sailing Instructions and the choose the race 
  • From the 2022 Calendar. Select the race on the relevant date and follow the link to the SSIs

 

We will always publish the SSIs on the home page of the web site before the race, along with the course for that race.

‍ISORA (Irish Sea Offshore Racing Association) is a not-for-profit members organisation responsible for offshore racing in the Irish Sea.

 

The Association is run by volunteers for the benefit of competitors by working in partnership with boat owners, crew, yacht and sailing clubs, other associations, and the governing bodies for boating in Ireland, Wales and the UK.

 

Our mission is to promote the sport of offshore racing in the Irish Sea.
